Crises are mostly caused by posts from users with high follower on Twitter. Therefore, it is very important to be informed quickly if a user with a high number of followers shares something about your brand.
With the number of user rule we have determined specific to your brand, every user who has a follower on the number we set and shares about your brand will come to you as a notification instantly. Here, the brand account or some designated users may be excluded.
The number of followers to be determined in the number of followers rule may vary by industry and brand. Your Monitera brand representative will guide you.
For creating reach rules:
Go to the Notification Rules page and click on the Add Rule button.
You need to write the name of your alert rule under the title of “Rule Description”. This will be on the subject line of the instructional mail you will send when you want to follow or edit this rule. For example, you can label it as “Acme Reach Rule” for the brand named Acme.
Then you need to select the mailing list, which will receive the notifications of this rule. This notification list might be a mailing list, Slack channel, or your services. You need to create a notification list for selecting your choices.
In the next step, you need to select “Reach” under the title of Rules and enter the limit on the number of followers you want to be alerted in the box that appears.
You can set an alert rule by clicking on the Create button in the last step.
